These terms apply to your use of travelsource.org and to travel services you request from TravelSource (“TravelSource”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, sending an inquiry or booking with us, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Who we are and what we do
TravelSource is a travel agency. We arrange travel from airlines and other independent suppliers, such as hotels, car rental companies and insurers. We act as your agent and are not the airline or supplier. Each supplier’s own fare rules and terms apply to what you buy, and we will give you the key rules in your quote.
Quotes, prices and booking
- An inquiry is a request for a quote. It is not a booking. A quote is an offer based on availability at that moment and is not a guarantee of price or seats until you accept it and we issue your ticket.
- Airfares and availability can change without notice. The fares we show on the site are public fares for guidance only and may have changed.
- Your booking is made when you accept a quote and we confirm it. Tickets are issued on payment, and your quote will tell you the airline’s time limits.
- Please check names, dates and routes carefully. Names must match the traveler’s passport. Corrections may carry airline fees or require a new ticket.
- Any service fees we charge are shown in your quote before you accept.
Payment
You can pay by ACH bank transfer or Zelle, by credit or debit card, or, on eligible bookings, over time through a financing provider. The methods offered and the exact total for each are shown when you accept your quote. Card and financing providers charge us processing fees, so paying by ACH or Zelle is priced lower than paying by card or financing.
Payment processing fees are non-refundable. This includes the fees charged by card and financing providers, and they are not returned if a booking is cancelled or refunded.
If you choose to pay over time through a financing provider, that provider decides whether to approve you and sets the rate, payments and fees under its own agreement with you. A credit check may apply. TravelSource is not the lender. If you cancel or are refunded, how the financing is adjusted depends on the provider’s terms.
Group bookings
Group fares are available for 10 or more travelers. A deposit is due to hold the seats: typically $50 per person for domestic trips and $200 per person for international trips, as confirmed in your quote. Final payment, the official passenger name list and ticketing are due 45 to 75 days before departure, depending on the airline. Once a group fare is booked, the fare does not change, but changes, name changes, deviations and cancellations follow the airline’s group rules, which we will explain in your quote. Deposits and payments for groups may be non-refundable.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
Not all tickets are refundable. Whether yours can be refunded, changed or converted to credit depends on the airline and the fare you booked, and we tell you the key rules in your quote.
- If your ticket is refundable, we charge a cancellation processing fee of 10% of the total booking cost, up to a maximum of $200 per person. The airline charges its own cancellation fee in addition, which we are unfortunately unable to change.
- If your ticket is non-refundable, it is unlikely we will be able to process a refund. The airline may allow the total cost of your booking to be converted to airline credit, or may authorize a change to your booking, subject to its own rules and fees.
- Where a refund is possible, it comes from the airline or supplier and may take weeks. Payment processing fees are non-refundable (see Payment above).
- Group bookings follow the deposit and cancellation terms set out in your group quote.
We can handle changes and cancellations for you, but the airline decides what is allowed. We recommend travel insurance, which you can ask us to quote.
Travel documents and entry rules
You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations, transit and entry documents for every country on your trip. We may point out requirements, but rules change and we do not guarantee that information is complete or current. Check official government sources before you travel. We are not liable if you are denied boarding or entry because of documents.
Accounts and credit
- Keep your login details private and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Travel Manager and Organization accounts may carry a one-time fee and per-ticket pricing set out when you sign up. Travel Managers booking for others are responsible for having those travelers’ permission to share their details.
- Credit earned with TravelSource is applied to future bookings with us. It has no cash value, can’t be transferred or redeemed for cash, and may be withdrawn if earned through misuse or reversed if the related booking is cancelled or refunded. We may change how credit is earned going forward.
AirPool
AirPool lets people plan a trip together and send the group to us as one inquiry. No seats are held or blocked while a pool is open, and joining or leaving doesn’t commit anyone or change anyone else’s booking. Each traveler is responsible for their own booking and payment. The organizer is responsible for the accuracy of the trip they create and for not sharing the link with people who haven’t agreed to be included. We are not responsible for disputes between members of a pool. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s permission.
Sage and automated help
Sage is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes, has no live fare data and can’t book or guarantee anything. Treat what it says as a starting point and rely only on a written quote from a TravelSource specialist.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site: no unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, no automated scraping, and no submitting information about other people without their permission. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our content
The site’s design, text, graphics and software belong to TravelSource or its licensors. You may use the site for your own travel planning but may not copy or reuse it commercially without our written permission.
Limits on our responsibility
Suppliers such as airlines, hotels and car companies provide the travel itself and are responsible for it. To the fullest extent the law allows, TravelSource is not liable for their acts or omissions, for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, lost baggage, injury or loss arising from travel, or for indirect or consequential losses. Where we are found liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. Nothing here limits any right you have under law that can’t be excluded.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. Courts in Maryland will have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Changes apply going forward and don’t affect bookings you have already made.
